Get Help With Debt’s Insolvency Practitioner is also regulated by Chartered Accountants Ireland.

Statutory Solutions
Statutory solutions such as IVAs (Individual Voluntary Arrangements ), Debt Relief Orders and Bankruptcy are regulated differently, currently by Recognised Professional Bodies (RPBs) for the purposes of authorising and regulating Insolvency Practitioners.
An Insolvency Practitioner (IP) is someone who is licensed and authorised to act in relation to an insolvent individual, partnership or company. Most IPs are accountants or insolvency specialists working in firms of accountants.
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) sets out minimum standards that all the authorised companies must adhere to in relation to debt advice.
